Siddha-praṇālī and ŚB 3.9.11
The followers of Iskcon and Gaudyia Mat pretend that the Ekādaśa Bhavas as
given on the second stage of Ragānuga Bhakti - called the Stage of Acceptance - Varana-daśa
are not given by the guru, but by Krishna himself,
although Krishna never spoke about Ekādaśa Bhavas,
or the chain of gurus that leads to Gauras and Krishnas pastimes,
as being presented in the Gaudiya Bhakti through the introducing of Ragānuga Bhakti as presented in the treaty of Śrī Gopala Guru Goswami, the first ācārya in Gambira, who wrote at the command of Śrī Caitanya a Manual (Arcana Paddhati) about the procedure of Ragānuga bhakti which gives details about siddha praṇālī, as given also in Śrī Gaura-Govindārcana-Smaraṇa-Paddhati 92-93 of his disciple Ṣrīpāda Dhyānacandra Gosvāmī.
They present as proof Srimad Bhagavatam 3.9.11
tvaṁ bhakti-yoga-paribhāvita-hṛt-saroja
āsse śrutekṣita-patho nanu nātha puṁsām
yad-yad-dhiyā ta urugāya vibhāvayanti
tat-tad-vapuḥ praṇayase sad-anugrahāya (Srimad Bhagavatam 3.9.11)"
with a fake translation:
O Lord! You, who are approached by being heard about, seen and directly served, enter and remain in the lotus of your devotee's hearts infused with bhakti-yoga.
Much praised Lord! By your mercy, you bestow to them spiritual bodies appropriate to the mood they cultivate during sādhana."
The word for word translation says something else:
Oh Lord, you reside in the heart like lotus of people thoroughly engaged in Bhakti-Yoga
nātha āsse hṛt saroje puṁsām paribhāvita bhakti-yoga
They may see You on the path of hearing but in whatever form of Your Greatness they meditate on You
īkṣita tvam pathaḥ śruta nanu yat-yat urugāya dhiyā te
that very same body, they think of, You manifest by your transcendental mercy.
tat-tat vapuḥ vibhāvayanti praṇayase sat-anugrahāya
In this Śloka it is presented that the form of the Transcendental Lord one meditate on, is the form in which the Transcendental Lord manifest to the Bhakta, which previously has seen the Lord through his ears.
