ि - i , ी - ī

 ि - i short i -  "f" on the English keyboard

- within a word appears before the consonant ि (the curl is the placeholder for the consonant)
- first is written the consonant , e.g. ka and then the letter i, which appears before the consonant.

Exercise: write the Sanskrit words in Devanagari, using the Sanskrit keyboard 10 times.
