Lesson 11  ू - ū, ढ - ḍ𝐡𝐚

ू - long u in a word appears under the consonant ू (the curl is the placeholder for the consonant - the consonant is written first, e.g. ka and then u, कू see also examples below).

कूप - kūpa - read - kuup - container, well, pit, cave - character "k t h" English keyboard.

कूच - kūca - read - kuutsha - breast - character "k t ; " English keyboard.

सूनु - sūnu - read - suunu - son - character "m t v g" English keyboard.

भूमि - bhūmi - read - bhuumi - earth - character "Z t c f" English keyboard. 

रू Long u lung after the 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐚 ू does not appear below ra but next to it

रूप - rūpa - read - ruup - form - character "j t h" English keyboard.

रूढ - rūḍha - read - ruudhî - great, high, grand, noble (love atribute of Radha) - character "j t { " English keyboard.

अक्रूर - akrūra- read akruur - not rude, polite (name of an uncle of Krishna) - character D k j t j .

भरू - bhrū - read bhruu - brow - character Y j t English keyboard.
