Lesson 1 - ā, ma
Switch to the Sanskrit keyboard!
1. Go to settings by clicking on the cogwheel.
2. Click on "Time & Language", and then click on "Language" in menu on the left.
3. In menu "Language" click "Add language".
4. search and select "Sanskrit", and install it.
Switch to the Sanskrit keyboard by clicking the "alt" key (keep pressing the key) and then the "↑" key in the lower left corner and select the language.
In a text editor, write all the Devanagari letters, line by line:

ā - presentation in IAST - International alphabet Sanskrit transliteration
ā - ा - Devanagari letter (the squiggle is the placeholder for the consonant before the ā)

One reads - long "a"
म - ma

- All consonants are read by adding the vowel a, "a inherent" to them
- if this "a inherent" " is changed with ā, then add ा and e.g. म becomes मा
मा - these are the letters "c" and "e" on the German keyboard
मा - mā - mother
