Jesus lived to old age
Till the creation of the doctrin concerning the resurection of Jesus,
the Christians taught that Jesus was never hangt by the jews,
see Babylonian Talmud: Tractate Sanhedrin Folio 43a.
This was stated in Against heresies book 2 chapter 22 by the one of the Church father, the bishop Irenaeus, who in this Book says that in this connection The Gospels give testimony.
As Irenaeus later get the four new Gospels in 185 (christian counting), he becomes an adept of the new doctrine for the new Jesus, but in the Book II, Chap. 22 he wrote:
"The thirty Æons are not typified by the fact that Christ was baptized in His thirtieth year:
He did not suffer in the twelfth month after His baptism,
but was more than fifty years old when He died.
... but from the fortieth and fiftieth year a man begins to decline towards old age,
which our Lord possessed while He still fulfilled the office of a Teacher,
even as the Gospel and all the elders testify;
those who were conversant in Asia with John, the disciple of the Lord,
[affirming] that John conveyed to them that information.
And he remained among them up to the times of Trajan."
