
6.2 Krișna of Vrindāvan attracts Śrī Lakșmi and Śrī Vișṇu
Ramānanda Rāya continues:
lakṣmī-kāntādi avatārera hare mana
lakṣmī-ādi nārī-gaṇera kare ākarṣaṇa
(Krișna) delights the minds of the avatars ruled by the beloved of the Goddess of Bliss (Nārāyaṇa). - hare mana avatārera ādi kānta lakṣmī
(Krișna) attracts all women, begining with the Goddess of Bliss. - kare ākarṣaṇa nārī-gaṇera ādi lakṣmī
Tika: Bringing evidence in support of his assertion, Ramānada Rāya quotes the words of Mahā-Viṣṇu from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (10.89. 58 ), when he is addressing Krișna and Arjuna, who had come to Him in search of the sons of the brahmana who had accused Yudiștira (Arjuna's brother) that being king, he was unable to protect his subjects, so his sons had disappeared without any reason. Arjuna swore that he would do his best to prevent such a thing from happening again. But it didn't. Krișna therefore resolved to help Arjuna to find the missing ones, and they finally reached Mahā-Vișṇu, who had stolen those Brahman's children.
dvijātmajā me yuvayor didṛkṣuṇā
mayopanītā bhuvi dharma-guptaye
kalāvatīrṇāv avaner bharāsurān
hatveha bhūyas tvarayetam anti me
Wishing to see you, I have taken the sons of the brahman to Myself. - me didṛkṣuṇā yuvayoḥ upanītāḥ dvija-ātma-jāḥ mayā
You have descended with all your energies into the material world to protect the Occupational Duty. - avatīrṇau kalā bhuvi guptaye dharma
Having removed the great burden of the asura gods from the world, - hatvā bhara-asurān avaneḥ
you shall soon return here to Me. - itam bhūyaḥ tvarayā iha anti me
Tika: From this verse it can also be seen that Śrī Krișna and Viṣṇu do not have a temporary body, but an eternal one, which exists in the spiritual world. At the same time both forms of the Transcendental Lord exist eternally in the spiritual world, and although these forms are different, they are both the Transcendental Lord, they belong to the Bhāgavan-tattva category.
In the following verse Ramānanda Rāya quotes a verse from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (10.16.36) in which the wives of the serpent Kāliya speak of the relationship of the Goddess of Bliss to Śrī with Krișna.
kasyānubhāvo 'sya na deva vidmahe
tavāńghri-reṇu-sparaśādhikāraḥ
yad-vāññchayā śrīr lalanācarat tapo
vihāya kāmān su-ciraḿ dhṛta-vratā
Oh Lord we don't know how this one (Kāliya) has realized - deva na vidmahe kasya asya anubhāvaḥ
to qualify to be touched by the dust of Your feet, - adhikāraḥ sparaśa reṇu tava ańghri
which was desired by the most exalted woman, the Goddess of Bliss. - yat vāññchayā lalanā śrī
(Thus she) took upon Herself vows and performed for a long time austerities and meditations, - vratā acarat su-ciram tapaḥ dhṛta
renouncing all other desires. - vihāya kāmān
