Tuṅgavidyā, Indulekhā, Raṅga-Devī, Su-Devī and Candramukhī, about Rādhā’s breasts
30-31 The topmost poet, Tuṅgavidyā, speaks to delight the assembly and embarrass Rādhā: "Aha! How enchanting is the forest of Rādhā's body! Here roams an intoxicated elephant whose temples are like a Rāised vedi. Kṛṣṇa's fingernails are the stick which drive the elephant. Thus, these lovely temples display hundreds of marks left by the driving-stick. Aho! When these marks combine with kasturī decoration they're simply gorgeous!"
Ṭīkā: Tuṅgavidyā's jubilation captures everyone's attention as she directs her roaming eyes towards Rādhā's raised kuca yugala to exclaim: "Rādhā's body is like a forest wonderland that pleases all of Kṛṣṇa's senses. Within this paradise roams Kāmadeva's uncontrollable pet-elephant. But Kṛṣṇa's hands are like the rod that drive the elephant, and his fingernails are the rod's whisk.
As the whisk falls upon the elephant's temples (Rādhā's breasts), numerous marks appear. So, to care for these, the elephant (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) places kuṅkuma on his whisk. Aho! Now these raised temples look spectacular, covered with kuṅkuma and kasturī designs!
32-33 Indulekhā's teeth shine like beautiful moons as she speaks, "The mad Kṛṣṇa-elephant sports within the Sura-taraṅginī Gaṅgā of Rādhā's bodily limbs! So just see, Rādhā's blooming lotus-breasts were marred by the elephant's trunk! (Kṛṣṇa's roaming hand)
Ṭīkā: Receiving Kṛṣṇa's cue, Indulekhā takes her turn and speaks with elation: "Tuṅgavidyā's description was great; yet my mind isn't satisfied. Indeed, it's difficult to compare the unlimited glories of these objects. We started with Nāga-raṅgasi, then bael-fruits and next the temples of an elephant-which are all fixed objects.
But in the līlā's flowing course Śrī Rādhikā's beautiful kuca yugala sometimes go up, or down-and sometimes they come forward, or go back. So, I think they resemble two blooming lotus bobbing within the Suradhunī Gaṅgā waves of Rādhā's body!"
34-35 Although Rādhā tries to check Raṅga-Devī with an eye-wink, still she pours nectar over Kṛṣṇa's ears by saying: "Aha! The Creator has molded two fine golden jugs in a secluded place go hide his jewel of youth. And after completion they were placed over Rādhā's chest. Hay! Hay! The tunnel-burrowing thief of Kṛṣṇa's fingernails has marred these svarṇa kumbhas to plunder the Creator's precious tāruṇya ratna!"
Ṭīkā: Indulekhā's previous example describes Rādhā Kṛṣṇa's most confidential rati līlā, viparīta vilāsa. So as this exciting scene comes to Kṛṣṇa's mind his ānanda is boundless! But Śrīmati turns red with embarrassment! So, when Kṛṣṇa motions to Raṅga-Devī to continue, Rādhā tries to stop her. Thus, her face flushes with a bouquet of numerous emotions as her earrings elegantly dance and the pearl hanging from her nose bobs.
"What type of secret treasure has the Creator hidden within the two golden vessels of Rādhā's breasts? Kṛṣṇa is mad to find out! Hence, just as a thief burrows an underground tunnel to enter a bank-vault, Kṛṣṇa's restless fingernails anxiously make their attempt to plunder Śrīmati Rādhārani's priceless tāruṇya ratna! Their nipples seal these svarṇa kumbhas to protect their hidden treasure."
36-37 Following Raṅga-Devī, Su-Devī speaks to enliven Giridhari and joke with Śasśmukhī Rāi: "Hey Sakhīs! Look, look! We're two golden pomegranates pecked by a parrot so that they look more charming than ever? Surely these ripe fruits are very dear to the forest Kokila!"
38-39 After the aṣṭa-Sakhīs speaks the Sakhī named Candramukhī takes her turn: "These golden pomegranates aren't of this world, they're divine! Thus, its seeds are within the pomegranate's flowers. And look! A flock of bees have stung the flowers!"
Ṭīkā: In the Sakhī Samāja no one transgresses the proper etiquette. So, after Rādhā's leading Sakhīs finish speaking, the others take turns. Here Candramukhī adds an interesting fact to Su-Devī's description. "Look!" she says, "These fantastic, golden pomegranate's flowers are Rādhā's bright lips. Because Rādhikā's teeth are red from chewing pan, they look like pomegranate seeds, and Kṛṣṇa's tooth-marks are like bee-stings."
